Global Foods Seafood is an independent seafood supplier. We’re passionate about supplying our customers with top-quality fish & seafood, and outstanding local services. We offer the largest range of fresh and frozen fish & seafood, a bespoke filleting service, and unrivaled expert advice, which is why we are the chef’s first choice. At Global Foods we have both local and international fresh fish buyers, ensuring we offer you the best quality ranges with reasonable prices in your area. We buy direct from local fishermen on day boats to guarantee the freshest catch as well as direct from some of the larger boats. This is supplemented by sourcing the best from the rest of the world’s catch.
We also offer our British Skippers Scheme, which allows us to reserve the finest premium quality, responsibly caught fish. To complement our fresh fish, we also provide essentials like prawns to value-added specialties such as scampi and battered and breaded fillets. In addition, at each local Global Foods branch, the deli chiller contains a large range of seafood products including smoked salmon, gravlax, crab, caviar, crayfish tails, anchovy fillets, marinated herrings and salmon rolls.
Today, Global Food Products is also pleased to announce it has finally partnered with its suppliers and Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP) under the Fishery Improvement Project (FIP), in a joint venture to promote sustainability. This partnership not only promotes sustainability, it enforces traceability to ensure that the origin and status of snapper and grouper products are well known and all products are sourced from legal fisheries.
Our partners run a large organization that works closely with several different companies on educating and accessing the information on different fisheries to develop programs working towards sustainability and who is currently working closely with leading supermarkets in the UK on the sustainability program.
